Location

The Huron University College Library is located on the main floor of the administration wing of the Huron campus across from the chapel.

Welcome to Huron Library

Getting Started

To borrow from Huron University College Library and Western Libraries, you need your Western Identity card (photo ID) and a patron record in the library database, which will be automatically entered when the card is issued.  For remote access to the online research databases or to check your library account, you need an ITS computer account.  A user ID and password is assigned by InformationTechnology Services when you become an employee of Huron University College or UWO.  For information on activating your Western Identity, click here.

 

Loan Policies for Faculty

Huron University College Library Circulating Books - 120 days

Overnight, 1 day and 3 day loans - as specified

Books can be renewed online through My Library Account, in person or by telephone.

Huron faculty are not assessed fines at Huron Library, except for recalled books, for which fines are $2.00 per day.  Faculty are assessed fines at other Western and affiliate university college libraries.


 

Library Hours

Regular Hours (Sept.-- April)

Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
